“All I Want For Christmas…”
This year when I had to mail Santa my Christmas List, I had a very hard time coming up with things I wanted. Nothing came to mind. When I thought about it, the word want seems so selfish. There is nothing I absolutely need. I know anything I wanted (almost) I could have. What about the other half? The people who need a lot more than I do? I want those people to have what they need. The people less fortunate than I to be given a great Christmas gift they can really use.
Dear Santa,
I would like (yes, another list)…
1. World peace
2. Cure for cancer
3. Stop global warming
4. Food for the hungry
5. Shelter for the homeless
6. Stop abuse
7. No more shooting/gangs
8. Fewer car accidents
9. Cure for AIDS
10. Love

You’re a very thoughtful person, a lot of people, including myself, would just say what they really want, or try to get a few cheap laughs. But you took the time to list all the problems in the world fixed.
A+.

How very unselfish of you. You make me feel guilty for begging my mom for an iPod. =P

It has occured to me that i have never commented you for like your actual blog, if i have commented you at all. therefore, I am commenting you. First of all I really wish that a magical person could create ways to fix all of those terrible things in the world. Because when I think about it want is something completely different from need. I want a lot of things, knowing I will never have them, but need, a true need for these things at the same time is almost never the situation. yeah i dont really know. im blabbering. anyway. adios.
